Job Hunt Automation · Last updated 23 August 2026

Job Hunt Automation ("the app") is a private, single-user tool operated by its owner on their own server. It has no public sign-up and no users other than the owner. This policy explains how the app accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.

1. Who this applies to

The only Google Account the app ever connects to is the account belonging to the app's owner and operator. The app does not offer accounts to anyone else and does not process any third party's Google data.

2. What Google data the app accesses

The app does not read the operator's email, contacts, calendar, photos, or any Drive file other than the resume template and the copies it creates.

3. How the data is used

Google user data is used solely to provide the app's user-facing features: recording job postings in the tracker, and generating tailored resume documents. It is not used for any other purpose.

4. How the data is stored

Documents and spreadsheet rows remain in the operator's own Google Drive at all times. The app itself runs on a private server controlled by the operator, and stores only the OAuth tokens needed to maintain the connection. Those tokens are held encrypted at rest. The app keeps no separate copy of the operator's Google files.

5. How the data is shared

Google user data is never sold, never transferred to data brokers, never used for advertising, and never used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Text from job postings and from the operator's own resume is sent to an AI language model provider for the sole purpose of scoring job relevance and drafting tailored resume wording. That content originates from public job listings and the operator's own resume. No other person's Google data is included.

6. Retention and deletion

The operator may delete any generated document or tracker row at any time directly in Google Drive. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the app's access. Stored tokens are destroyed when access is revoked or the app is uninstalled.

7. Limited Use

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy can be directed to the app operator at the support email listed on the app's Google consent screen.
